This generated paper has been accepted with review by the 2008 International Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering (CSSE). According to the organizers, 'CSSE is one of the important conferences sponsored by IEEE Computer Society, which serves as a forum for scientists and engineers in the latest development of artificial intelligence, grid computing, computer graphics, database technology, and software engineering.' Even better, fake author Herbert Schlangemann has been selected as session chair (PDF) for that conference. (The name Schlangemann was chosen based on the short film Der Schlangemann by Andreas Hansson and Björn Renberg.)"

دزدیدن از یک مولف تاراج ادبی است: اما دزدیدن از چند نویسنده پژوهش است!

بر اساس اوامر استاد معظم خویش ، جناب آقای دکتر قدسی، که قلم فرسایی های اینجانب در بلاگ ایشان مدیون رخصت و صبر ایشان است، رقیمه قبلی خود را فی الفور به زبان فارسی مجددا ارسال میکنم. البته در این برگردان برخی از نکات لاجرم بخاطر عدم آشنایی حقیر با صنایع ادبی زایل خواهد شد.

علت این نقل قول صرفا اشاره به درهم بافت پیچیده مسائلی است که بعنوان گروهی از افراد دل نگران می بایست با آن دست و پنجه نرم کنیم اگر بنا داشته باشیم که در مورد پس زدن موج پلشت کاری علمی کاری صورت دهیم.

دیروز من با یکی از مدیران ارشد دانشگاه تهران در پردیس مرکزی تماس گرفتم تا خلاصه اجرایی را در رابطه با رهنمودهای پیشنهادی آزمایشگاه مطالعات اطلاعاتی در رابطه با رفع یا حل و فصل مناقشات در موارد مربوط به تاراج علمی و نقض مالکیت معنوی تهیه نمایم. تمرکز آزمایشگاه بر روی سه زمینه رفع یا حل وفصل مناقشه بین همترازان، استاد و دانشجو و حکمیت بین المللی خواهد بود. ب

با این همه قبل از اینکه تا سه شنبه هفته آینده اقدام به ارسال این خلاصه اجرایی کنم، میل دارم که یک توفان مغزی داشته باشم. از اینرو در اینجا با آغوش باز از همه هم بلاگیهای عزیز دعوت می کنم تا برای یک گقتمان صمیمانه رو در رو به آزمایشگاه حقیر بیایند. بوفه ما مشهور به سرو غذاهایی است که یاد آور آن ایام دور دانشجویی خوب است که ادعا می کردیم معدمان دارای پوشش تیتانیومی است. افرادی که معده حساس دارند غذای خود را به همراه بیاورند

If you steal from one author it's plagiarism; if you steal from many it's research

Not that I'm subscribing to that quotation. It merely points out to the intricate complexity of the issues that we need to grapple with if as a group of concerned individuals we intend to do something to stem the tides of academic misconduct.

Today I contacted a member of senior management at University of Tehran Administrative Central to prepare a one page executive summary on ISL proposed Guidelines for Conflict Resolution in cases of Plagiarism and Intellectual Property Infringements. We would focus on three areas of Conflict Resolution between peers, Mentor-Student, and International Arbitration.

However before Next week when I need to send out the executive summary, I like to hold a brainstorm Pick-Nick (Yes the misspelling is intentional). I hereby openly invite my dear PAP colleagues to come to my Lab for some face-to-face quality time. Our Canteen is notorious for serving foods reminiscent of the good old student days, when we often boasted that our stomach is lined with Titanium. The faint of stomach, can bring in their own snack :).

There are several issues that I like to run by you. It is better to be embarrassed before my Peers than before paper-pushing, desk jockey.
